What are the table dimensions?
Ysea is available in two sizes: Small and Large. Detailed dimensions for each version are provided in the “Sizes” section of the page. Both sizes are designed to fit comfortably into everyday living spaces.

When will my table be delivered?
Once the Kickstarter campaign has ended and funds have been collected, we will proceed with the final pre-production phase with our manufacturing partners. We currently estimate the first deliveries to begin in March 2027 and will fulfill orders on a first ordered, first delivered basis.
As with any Kickstarter project, this timeline is an estimate and will be updated regularly throughout production.

Where is Ysea manufactured?
Ysea is manufactured in Europe by experienced furniture makers, our accessories are produced in Asia, and our gaming mats are made in France. We work closely with our partners to ensure consistent quality and careful craftsmanship.

Can I leave a game set up inside the table?
Yes. One of Ysea’s key features is the ability to pause a game, close the table, and resume later without disturbing the setup. The gaming area has a depth of approximately 60 mm without a mat. The maximum miniature height will then depend on the thickness of the mat being used.
As a general guideline, we recommend not exceeding a standing miniature height of around 56 mm to ensure the toppers can be replaced safely without any contact.

What materials are used for Ysea?
Ysea is built using a combination of solid wood craftsmanship and carefully selected structural materials.
The table features a steel frame for long‑term rigidity and stability. The tabletop and playing surface are made from high‑density MDF, veneered with real FSC‑certified oak veneer, chosen for its perfectly flat surface and dimensional stability over time.
All structural elements and accessories are crafted from solid oak, selected for durability and everyday use.

Can I customize the table (color, play mat, inserts)?
Yes. Ysea offers a thoughtful level of customization while keeping a coherent and refined design.
The table is available with three wood finish options: – one natural, without tint – two additional tinted finishes
The play mat and accessories can be customized in different colors, allowing you to tailor the table to your interior and playing style.

How is the LED lighting powered?
The LED lighting plugs directly into a standard wall outlet.
The system comes with a remote control, allowing you to easily adjust the lighting and create different lighting atmospheres.
We chose this solution to provide consistent brightness and avoid the inconvenience of replacing or recharging batteries.

Is there enough legroom under the table?
The clearance under the table is approximately 69 cm (27.2”) without the Range Topper option and 63 cm (24.8”) with it installed.
This remains fully compatible with standard dining chairs (typically around 45–46 cm / 17.7–18.1” seat height) and provides comfortable everyday use.

Can I pay in installments?
Yes. We have enabled Kickstarter’s Pledge Over Time feature, which allows eligible backers to split their contribution into 3 payments at no additional cost, directly through Kickstarter.
The first payment is charged at the end of the campaign, with the remaining two payments automatically collected over the following months. You can find more details here:

Is the table difficult to assemble?
No.
Ysea arrives mostly pre-assembled. Assembly mainly consists of attaching the legs (2 screws per leg).
We recommend two people for easier and safer handling.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
